How do I get involved?

Keep checking the web site for updates on the project and tell your friends to log on too. You can also signup to receive regular news and updates at our "Get Involved" page. As time goes on we will be bidding for construction, advertising for jobs in sales, concessions, client services, stadium operations and much more.

What can I do to help?

Tell your friends to sign up at the "Get Involved" page to show how much you want the NFL to return. Email the NFL to tell them how much you like the location and that you want them to come back to LA. Lastly, follow our progress, ask us questions and give us advice - after all you are the fan and our #1 customer.

Location

Why get rid of the hillside just for a football stadium?

The site already has an approved EIR for 4.7 million square foot industrial, office and retail project and the site is going to be developed. Portions of the site have already been graded. We will be reducing the overall development on the site to accommodate the new stadium from 4.7 million to 2.9 million square feet.

Why there and not closer to LAX?

We have a location that works for the Greater Los Angeles area. Any new stadium had to be close enough to Los Angeles and the west side of the County while at the same time serving other areas of the region. In addition, it needed to serve the Orange County fan base and it also needed to provide for the explosion of population in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.

As you can see from the maps the Los Angeles Football Stadium at the intersection of the 60 and 57 Freeways is only 22 miles east of Downtown LA, 15 miles from Anaheim, 25 miles from Newport Beach, 15 miles from Ontario Airport, 16 miles from Pasadena and just outside 25 miles from Riverside.

On a typical Sunday afternoon game day most people will be able to reach the site within 30 to 45 minutes. Within 30 miles of the site there are nearly 12 million people. The only other site in the NFL that has more people within 30 miles is New York with nearly 15 million and they have 2 teams. Based on location alone this is the best site for football anywhere in Southern California.

Public Transportation

Will there be public transportation access to the site?

Yes, yes, yes! We have a Metrolink station adjacent to the site and we will run shuttles from the station to the stadium on game days. In addition, we have close parking for busses to enable fans who take public and charter buses to have easy access to the stadium, tail gate and retails areas.

Taxes, Property Values, Environment

How will the stadium affect property values?

It is difficult to answer this question; however, we are confident that the stadium and the entertainment, retail and office project will create a desired location. Typically good locations garner higher land values. Our experience with Staples Center shows that the land values have increased many times over in the area surrounding Staples.

What will the effects of the Stadium have with regard to crime, pollution and noise?

All of those areas are being studied in our Supplemental Environmental Impact Report. We will certainly have more than adequate police and security to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our fans and retail customers. With respect to pollution we believe that this project will be one of the first green stadiums in the history of the NFL. Constructed on a hillside, no transportation of dirt off-site and the latest in environmental friendly materials, equipment and procedures - it will be a stadium that we can all be proud of. The stadium is being designed with a state of the art sound system to minimize any off-site noise issues.

Will you use public money and cause our taxes to go up?

Just as we did with our Staples Center Project we will privately finance the stadium, office and retail project. The strength of the LA economy enables us to garner a higher price for naming opportunities, suites, club seats and sponsorships, which will enable us to privately finance the stadium and make the team financially secure.

Team

Don’t take my Raiders or Chargers.

It is our understanding that the National Football League has no intention of expanding, but they do want to be in Los Angeles. State-of-the-art stadiums are required for teams to stay competitive in today’s NFL. We do not control what team will play in the new Los Angeles Stadium, but we do know it will be an existing team that needs to move because they cannot build a new stadium or financially they are not successful in their current market. We can not disclose which teams we are talking with.

Tickets

How do I get tickets, how much are they and do you have a seating chart?

Unfortunately, we are not far enough along with the final design to lock in the seating chart, but as soon as we are, we will publish a chart and price list and put it on the web site. We will also contact you via email when the seats are available. Tell your friends who are interested to sign up at the "Get Involved" page so we can notify them and you directly.

Traffic

I do not want traffic in my city and those freeways are always backed up.

As we all know there are times everyday when our freeways in Los Angeles are backed up. However, it is important to remember that with the possible exception of one weekday each year; most of the games will be on Sunday afternoon (with a game or two on a Saturday). Generally traffic levels are significantly lower on weekends than during weekday rush hour. As part of the Environmental Impact Report process in California a traffic engineering firm has been retained to study the stadium and related office and retail traffic. Although the study is not yet complete, we believe that is will show that the reduced development project with the stadium will generate less traffic during the week as compared with the approved 4.7 million square foot project. More importantly, because of the location is adjacent to the freeway there are many ways to access the site. We experienced similar benefits with our Staples Center project which is located adjacent to freeways. The ability to access the Los Angeles Stadium site from multiple freeways (60, 10, 57 and 71) and multiple off ramps (Azusa, Nogales, Brea Canyon, Grand, Valley) enables the traffic to be disbursed and with no need to go through neighborhood streets.
